Eydes - The restaurant at Jørgensens Hotel is situated in the vaulted basement, which is even older than Lichtenberg's Palace. The atmosphere is unsurpassed. At Eydes familiar dishes are prepared from scratch from quality ingredients with a local touch and served with friendliness and warmth.


The newly refurbished basement is Horsens’ new gathering point. Eydes's pastel tiled floors, vaulted ceilings and the light from the tall windows create an agreeable atmosphere for breakfast, lunch and coffee. The room has an intimate peace about it when evening falls.


At Eydes we serve food for locals, business men and women, people out travelling, people in love and the quality-conscious alike. For lunch, in the evening, on weekdays and for special occasions.


At Eydes we offer Danish-French cuisine made with local ingredients. Danish open sandwiches for lunch and solid meals in the evenings. On the menu you will find, among other things, Iberian black pig, rabbit and fish and - of course - vegetarian alternatives.

With creamy summer blancquette, fried heart salad with fresh Danish peas, shredded ribs, new onions and potatoes.


Rhubarb baked with rum
Ylette Sorbet, crispy meringue and roasted white chocolate.
