The King's Suite

The royal suite of 1744 has throughout the ages both royal and artists, enterprising businessmen, bridal couples and celebrities in the sumptuous gems that spread over 100 sqm. The suite got its name when King Frederik the Fifth in 1749 was a guest at Gehrdt de Lichtenberg and stayed in the room.

A historic wingsuit hits the guest who enters the Kongesuit. Here the guests' dreams are met for a unique hotel visit in the luxury class, combined with an exciting journey back in Danish history. The King's Chamber, as it was also called, has been restored throughout the ages, while maintaining the authentic atmosphere of the grandeur of bygone days.

In the royal suite, the highest expectations of luxury and well-being are met. Among the facilities are the rainshower and jacuzzi in the exclusive marble bathroom. The suite, which spans two rooms, has an extra large flat screen TV, and the bed is of course king size.

As a little extra, the royal chair is exhibited in the suite, a gilded rococo rosette, which was prepared for the visit of King Frederik the fifth in Horsens on May 19, 1749.

Kongesuiten is often used as an exclusive conference room for special meeting events, emphasizing the experience of the historical magic that the framework offers.

Even dinner arrangements with their own dedicated service throughout the event are popular in the Kongesuiten. Here the guests receive the very special experience, which is remembered for a long time, and which captivates in the story of the King's Suite's innumerable guests.
