Our approach is spiced with a good portion of green thought: The food is made from scratch, and it is the seasons that dictate what we have on the menu. - We use Danish manufacturers, not only for the quality but also to save the environment in connection with transport. At the same time, we also often gain on taste and sparse water consumption.
Our ingredients are almost exclusively organic - which has also given us the organic bronze label as proof of a 30-60% organic cuisine.
Gitte and Erik Skovsgaard love animals and Danish nature and this informs their passion for producing high-quality Danish beef cattle. They have introduced a number of requirements to ensure their animals to live as naturally as possible in the Danish countryside. All of this care and craft results in animals that have optimal growth, which means their herd of Danish beef cattle on “Kildegaarden” farm produce meat of a much higher quality.
